December is all booked up…

December is officially completely booked up!  I meant to get this post out last month but tis the season to be BUSY!  Unless you are expecting your sweet bundle and are already a part of my mommy&me package, I am unable to accomodate anymore bookings for December.  I can’t believe 2009 is just around the corner! (28 more days but who’s counting!?)

I am already booking into January, so if you are expecting in January and are interested in Maternity/Newborn portraits, please call to book ASAP!  Spaces are limited and I will be taking only 2-3 clients per week!

Got the Giggles…

I just love working with maternity couples!  It is INEVITABLE that when I say “okay, now relax and close your eyes” or “okay and KISS”…someone always breaks out laughing!!  It’s hilarious!  This first picture was that exact scenerio!  And they had the giggles!  What a fun couple!  Thank you guys for driving TWO HOURS to come see me!! He he he…okay – maybe next time it will only be 45 minutes (but it sounded good) LOL!Was trying to think how I could incorporate these great boots into a maternity picture!  I love this shot!…and those shoes!  Woohoo!

Baby Bump

This beautiful pregnant woman has the perfect little baby bump!  Due at the end of December – only mom and dad know the sex of the baby!  Blue packaging this Christmas? Or Pink? Hmmm…what do you think?

Holiday Mini Sessions!

Okay, So I have yet to try out the new photography fad of “Mini Sessions” so I thought…why not give it a try for the holidays!  What exactly is a mini-session?  Well, it’s a photo session IN STUDIO that gives you some different pictures to choose from in a private on-line gallery, but doesn’t take up all the time of a regular photosession!  For those of you on a tighter budget, or perhaps running out of time or gift ideas – this is perfect!  Or especially for those wonderful past newborn clients who want some updated photos of your little one’s all rolly-polly and cute for Christmas!  I have some new photography ideas that I am dieing to try out too! 

*Note that there are no woredrobe changes for this session, session fee cannot be used ‘instead’ for another session and fees are due at the time of booking!  Times will fill up fast, so please book asap to secure your spot!  I hate to have to say no or turn anyone down because they waited too long

6 Week Charmer

This little charmer is 6 weeks old and such a sweet heart!  Her big sisters were all over her and being such wonderful little “mommies’…enjoy your preview J & M !  There are TONS more coming your way!

Amazing, Beautiful Sky!

This has to be the most beautiful site I have ever seen in the sky!  I find weather absolutely fasinating! WOW!

Pikangikum

Our police officers whether regionals, city or OPP work hard at the jobs they do.  This is my sweet heart who has been gone to Pikangikum for 3 days, 33 hours to be exact (but who’s keeping track!), to help out the very busy police department up there.  Where is Pikangikum (for those who can even say the word lol!)? It is about 15 hours north of Thunder Bay Ontario.  It’s a community in desperate need of prayers!  With no plumbing, and no clock this is a community of people who are up all hours of the day and night.  A nice group of people who just need some guidance.  They have a church where they worship from 7pm til just shy of midnight, and a school where teachers go work at for stints of up to 3 years at a time.  They have an arena and they play hockey!  They try to live the best they can with what they all grew up knowing…and they get into a lot of trouble when night falls which is why our OPP officers are being deployed there for 2 weeks at a time working pretty much 24 hours a day trying to keep the peace.  This time, my officer got called upon to go and help.  He will be gone for another week and a half and I just ask for all of you to include him and the officers up there in your prayers each day.  It’s definitely a different life up there and we should all be thankful and feel totally blessed with what we have down here! Hun…I miss you   I am literally counting the hours until your safe return home!  God Bless…xoxoxoxoxxo
