Got the Giggles…

I just love working with maternity couples!  It is INEVITABLE that when I say “okay, now relax and close your eyes” or “okay and KISS”…someone always breaks out laughing!!  It’s hilarious!  This first picture was that exact scenerio!  And they had the giggles!  What a fun couple!  Thank you guys for driving TWO HOURS to come see me!! He he he…okay – maybe next time it will only be 45 minutes (but it sounded good) LOL!Was trying to think how I could incorporate these great boots into a maternity picture!  I love this shot!…and those shoes!  Woohoo!

Niece or Nephew?

Meet my “little” sister T !  Inside that cute little belly of hers kicks my little niece! (or nephew?)…we all guess she is having a girl – she is convinced it’s a boy!  Due January 16th, so I guess we’ll see!

My beautiful little niece who’s 4, is also convinced she is having a brother! Hmmm….

I photograph THE BEST people!!

“Strength” is what I think of when I talk about this beautiful pregnant woman! Strong, Independant  -  FIGHTER!  I wish I could share her story (it’s very inspirational for women who go through what she is) but I can’t…however,  L you were so fun to photograph, and I look forward to meeting little miss M.  If she grows up to be anything like you – she will a very lucky girl!  I think she looks beautiful in this shot!  Look at those lashes!  This beauty is due in less than 5 weeks!

Beautiful Pregnancy

Now ladies…try not to let the jealousy steam out of your pours when you hear that this pregnant beauty is due in only 2 weeks…and has only gained 11 (uh – ya – that’s 1*1*..ELEVEN – rhymes with Heaven) pounds! “K” it was so great working with you again in this fun session!  I can’t wait to meet your little princess (or prince?)…Beautiful! Doesn’t that ring just scream “I’m TAKEN”…lol…

OCTOBER IS BOOKED!

I have about 8 newborns due in October who aren’t scheduled as we dont’ know when they like to make their grand entrance into the world! Aside from those unscheduled Newborns, October is BOOKED!~Weddings, family sessions, engagement sessions, children sessions…and a partridge in a pair tree! BOOKED! Lol…If you want pictures for Christmas, please make sure to book your time for our first annual mini-sessions which will be held on November 5th and 10th…no sessions past this date can be done in time for Christmas pictures!  So PLEASE call me @ 289-244-6434 to book your session asap!

Do you get the Maternity Session Jitters?

I often hear my Maternity clients say how nervous they are for their session…it’s a case of being bigger than your used to, with weight gained in places you didn’t think possible, getting half nude in front of a photographer you don’t know (let alone a camera which most people HATE their pictures taken), and all together my beautiful pregnant clients feel they just don’t know what to expect and if they will enjoy their experience.  Let me tell you – a pregnant woman is BEAUTIFUL and it’s so important to capture this moment in your life whether this is your first pregnancy, or your last – this is your body that has created a human and as it grows inside you…your skin tone, your belly…your whole being grow to reflect this little wonder you long to meet.  If you have had a maternity session with me…and your reading this…please leave a comment on this post about your experience at your session…for other new moms to read. Maybe your words can calm the nerves of those with “maternity session jitters” You would never know it, but this mom was one of those who were nervous about the session, not knowing what to expect and feeling more comfortable (like most of us) fully dressed, in jeans and a comfy shirt.  But just look at how radiant she looks!  This is a mom who said “I would NEVER get maternity pictures done”…but then she saw the gallery of a friend of hers who’s pictures I did earlier this month and looky looky who would “NEVER” get maternity pictures done!  I hope you enjoy your preview and have nothing but good things to say about your experience with your Maternity session!  See…even got some in her comfy clothes

Maternity Fun!

What a fun couple!  This mom-to-be brought a ton of different outfits to try and we had a blast figuring out “what next!”…I hope you enjoy your preview and I can’t wait to show you the rest!  Miss “J” had the most awesome t-shirt (besides the one below) that said:  “Pregnant is the new sexy”…”J” you should see what I did with THAT!  Can’t wait to show you the rest! Fall Sessions

Fall Sessions are filling up FAST!  I don’t know what happend in February (Valentine’s Day celebrations perhaps?) but I have a whole bunch of little bundles coming in October!  WHOOOHOO!!! October is almost completely FULL and September is starting to head that way as well.  If you are interested in Christmas portraits, you’ll need to book your session by November 15th, and all orders must be in by November 30th to ensure their arrival by the 25th!  Wow-talking about christmas already! New Favourite!

I absolutely love this photograph! It’s my new favourite!  Doesn’t she look so peaceful and happy?  A beautiful expecting mom, and I can’t wait to meet her little girl in September!

9 Days New

Remember the beautiful baby boy from …well 9 days ago…10 pounds 11 ounces…here he is for his newborn session we had yesterday!  He was such a good boy!  Took a while to get him comfy and sleepy but supermom did the job GREAT!  I hope you like your sneak peak mom and dad – cant’ wait to show you the rest!!!
